Come live with me and be my bride,
And love for eternal life
That currents, waves, sharks, Tsunamis
Forests or Deep crevice yields
And we will sit upon the bells,
Watching divers collect their shells
By shallow rivers to whose falls
Melodious whales sing madrigals.
And I will make thee beds of waters
And a thousand pretty corals
Some pets, and a crown of shells
Embroidered all with natural wonders
A dress made of the finest skins
Which from our pretty friends we pull
Fair lined boots for the cold
With designs of the purest gold
A belt of sea weeds and corals
With style of kings and fashion queens
And if these pleasures may thee glide,
Come live with me and be my bride.
The divers' kin shall dance and sing
For thy delight each May morning
If these delights thy mind may glide,
Then live with me and be my bride.
