3rd year Outbound trip

The 3rd year students of DBTI Tarlac had their Outbound trip to Bauan, Batangas last November 13,2010.

The 3rd year students of Don Bosco Tarlac were very excited as the Outbound trip schedule arrived. Early in the morning, the students together with their respective advisers and faculty members, asked the Holy Virgin Mary for guidance as they proceed and left the DBTI campus.

As they arrive, the students did some stretching to be ready for the activities. Once ready, the students went to the shoreline to ride a boat taking them to the islands for activities by group. Some when on with their Trekking while others waited for the boats while being lectured about the snorkel mask. Many students were very excited for it would be their first time Snorkeling.

Once all activities were done, the students returned to the bus and took a long rest on the way back to DBTI Tarlac campus.

Man Behind the Laptop

A man who treasure the English Language. A pure catholic who holds God dear in his heart. A man of service for the youth - Sir Ryan Gonzales. Graduating from DBTI Tarlac batch 2003. A bachelor of Secondary Education and a major in English. Graduated College from Don Bosco College Semenary class of 2007.

Sir Ryan now faces a new chapter in his career as an educator as he faces the gold patch. With a proud look on his face and his Laptop at hand, he teaches his students with high definition English and well-explained lectures. He feels at home whenever he sets foot in DBTI Tarlac serving the youth with the following quotations that inspire him to work everyday "educate by evangelizing, evangelize by educating." by Don Bosco, and "a teacher affects eternity, he can never tell where his influence stops." by Henry B. Adams and Mitch Aldo. He chose education because and I quote "I wanted to share first what i have acquired to my fellow bosconians. Eventually, I'll be moving on towards "greener pasteurs" but I would never stop giving back to the school where I came from."

Sonnet #1

By: Clarx

It’s been a year or two since we first met
At that moment you shook my sleeping heart;
Even though I know we are worlds apart
Never was a day that I will regret
For a girl like you is hard to forget;
At that moment for me it became clear
That it’s love for you that I feel, my dear;
Love’s my strength, the world’s not a threat
Baby, I don’t seek for more affection
All I’m asking for is your attention;
Please, hear my cry, my one, my only true love!
Never hesitate, my dear, never cry
For I promise you a bright morning sky;
If thee love can’t be mine, thy love won’t move

My teachers whom I love

Being a son a teacher, I know what a teacher goes through everyday life. The hours they spend making our grades. The headaches that the students give to them. A teacher's life is never easy.

To me, teachers are above-average people who care for the youth. And I dedicate this blog to all the teachers who taught me so many things all through out my life. To my GS teachers from ECC, Mrs. Haidee Co, Faith Lacson, Marissa Nuguid, Marcemelia Rombaoa, Lorna Fuertez, and Catalina Gelacio. And to my HS teachers, Ma'am Rochelle, Sir Noel, Bro. Joji, Bro. Uly, Ma'am Gomez, Ma'am Martinez, Ma'am Jinnelle, Sir Policarpio, Ma'am Weng, Sir Edwin, Sir Vener, Ma'am Saptang, Ma'am Juvilyn, Sir Doria, Sir, Gotidoc, Sir Casapao, Sir Alegre, Bro. Nick, Ma'am Glenda, Sir, Ricardo, Sir Ryan, Ma'am Apple, Fr. Mon, and Sir Apollo. To them I admire for their hard work and dedication to us students and are the heroes of all students. For without the teachers, their is no school, no education, no new friends, and no 2nd parents.

These people are my inspiration on continuing my studies. They bring feeling to my life, they're the inspiration. No one needs them more than their students. They're always on my mind, in my heart, and in my soul. And to them I say "I and will forever love you 'till the end of time".

The Passionate Diver to His Lover

Come live with me and be my bride,
And love for eternal life
That currents, waves, sharks, Tsunamis
Forests or Deep crevice yields

And we will sit upon the bells,
Watching divers collect their shells
By shallow rivers to whose falls
Melodious whales sing madrigals.

And I will make thee beds of waters
And a thousand pretty corals
Some pets, and a crown of shells
Embroidered all with natural wonders

A dress made of the finest skins
Which from our pretty friends we pull
Fair lined boots for the cold
With designs of the purest gold

A belt of sea weeds and corals
With style of kings and fashion queens
And if these pleasures may thee glide,
Come live with me and be my bride.

The divers' kin shall dance and sing
For thy delight each May morning
If these delights thy mind may glide,
Then live with me and be my bride.

Heroes

Heroes

What is a hero? A hero is a person who serves the people around him. A person who shows leadership, honesty, and trust. An example of a hero is Corazon Aquino, who made our country democratic.

Who's my hero, if you may ask? I don't have a hero, but heroes and they are my family. They guide me, protect me, and they would do anything for me. They are the people saves me from danger, advise me and make me happy.
What about you? who are your heroes? Why choose them to be your heroes? These are the questions I asked myself. For me, These are the qualities of a hero.
